April 10 -11: Southern California Site Visits

The NW Alliance is hosting two site visits in Southern California on April 10 and 11.

Join us on April 10 at Republic Services’ Yard at 1235 North Blue Gum Street in Anaheim, California, where the adventure begins. Upon arrival, we’ll be greeted by Brian Juarez, the Director of Maintenance for Republic Services’ Anaheim Yard, who will kick off our visit.  Prepare for an engaging 60 – 90 minute tour filled with fascinating insights!

On April 11, at the UPS Depot in Riverside, California.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

  •  Discover how trucks are fueled with renewable natural gas (RNG) – a game changer for the environment!

  • Dive into the innovative design of the maintenance bays and learn the secrets of safely maintaining vehicles that use float fuels versus those that spill.

  • Get up close and personal with the trucks, plus interact with the drivers to hear firsthand about their experiences!

  • Engage in a lively discussion about the incredible financial and environmental benefits of upgrading trucks from Diesel to RNG.

Don’t miss out on this thrilling opportunity to explore the cutting-edge of sustainable transportation!

I’ll send more details on meeting places and carpooling with a confirmation to you. If you have any questions about the Northwest Alliances’s events, please do not hesitate to contact me.
